First Update: A Crucible of Order

Hi Everyone! I’m hoping to update this blog on a regular basis so between checking here and the Current Writing section of this site, you should be able to stay abreast of all the current goings on. Since I was a fan of SciFi and Fantasy long before publishing my first novel, I understand how frustrating it can be to wonder when the next installment of of a favorite series will be coming out. Is the author working on it? Is he slacking off and laying on a beach somewhere? Did he become angry with one of his main characters and punish them by not writing their series (yes this happens). Well, I don’t ever want to leave folks wondering so promise to do my very best to keep everyone fully informed.

With that said, I’m about 60% done with the outline for Sentinels of Creation: Book 5, A Crucible of Order. I’ve completed the prologue and the first couple chapters as well, so a generous estimate would have me around 10% done with the draft stage. That puts me on schedule for handing off the manuscript to editors and audiobook producers around November 1st of this year. It may seem like a long ways off, but there are at least 90,000 words that need writing between here and there. With that said, I’m off…got to get cracking.
